Obamoncology

Obamoncology is the sub-discipline of Oncology devoted to excising the cancer of capitalism from society. In a brilliant alliance between Mr. Glibb and Dr. Prepper, the American economy has been brought under sedation through the application of local anesthetics applied to various and sundry economic organs. The subject is not yet comatose, but is already largely unaware of what is happening.

Some of those organs have been removed, and replaced by government agencies. their artificial counterparts. The circulatory system is the next to be attacked, and the attack is planned to be carried out first by suppressing the immune system and then introducing foreign agents, inducing a variety of diseases.

The suppression of the immune system was accomplished by infecting the organism with secular-humanism introduction virus (S-HIV), which succeeded in replacing much of the organism's natural cultural DNA. Upon learning to function with the new DNA, the organism became unable to combat secular-humanist implication teratogens (SHIT). Before long, it was riddled with SHIT, and the new generation became severely deformed.

All of this was accomplished through the gradual introduction of new schema, schema always announced with great fanfare, cheering crowds and Glib promises of hope and change. Realizing that society would never have accepted the new schema without the sugar (a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down), many segments of society and key movers and shakers were promised favors and advantages they could not otherwise realize.

Then, as adverse symptoms developed, spin doctors were dispatched to sooth the organism, convincing it that what it was experiencing was a temporary case of hysteria, and that if it would simply sit down and be quiet, its nausea and dizziness would soon pass. Not to worry. If the organism had simply had the wisdom to consult a second opinion, perhaps it might have realized what was happening to its cardiovascular system and the worst might have been avoided.
